Clean Room Environment consist of opening up your drive for internal diagnostic & recovery.  This, more severe, type of recovery, is more complex and must be performed in a dry, clean room.  Free from dust, debris and moisture (which could easily prevent recovery of your valuable data) if opened in a normal environment.
